SalaryShipping and Receiving Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of incoming & outgoing shipments using scales to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
2. Affixes shipping information on product for identification purpose per customer’s instructions.
3. Applies appropriate packaging techniques per customer specifications.
4. Examines outgoing & incoming shipments to insure packaging meets specifications.
5. Operates forklift equipment to move, convey or hoist product in shipping area, including outside platforms, delivery trucks, plating depts. & storage areas.
6. Processes incoming & outgoing paperwork documentation.
7. Complies with applicable ISO/QS procedures.
8. Applies knowledge of bar coding for identification & tracking of material where applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
