Receiving and Shipping Associate

Ferti Technologies is a growing company that is a blender of specialty fertilizers for landscape professionals, golf courses and the retail market. Founded in 1987, Ferti Technologies produces premium quality fertilizers and amendments brought to the market through a network of distributors and retailers while always employing the same exacting production standards. Responsibilities:

Operating unloading equipment to unload raw materials. Loading, moving, unloading finished palletized products for outbound deliveries. Specific responsibilities include:

· Receive/Unload inbound raw materials used for production safely and efficiently.

· Safely loading trucks and with palletized fertilizer for outbound delivery.

· Efficiently move finished products from production staging area to the warehouse location.

· Report/document discrepancies or damage.

· Safe and efficient operation of the equipment following prescribed work methods.

· Understand and perform thorough start of shift equipment inspections.

· Assist all areas of operation as needed.

· Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications:

Education

· High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements:

· Must be dependable with driver’s license and transportation, available for overtime and weekends.

· Forklift experience and ability to pass a forklift certification test.

· Ability to work independently; overtime and Saturdays (Seasonal)

· Mechanical aptitude

· Must be able to read written instructions.

· Adhere to all safety policies and personal protection equipment requirements.

· Focused on quality

· Outstanding housekeeping skills

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and inside, working in a production/warehouse environment.

· Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.

· Must be able to stand for periods of time.

Pay starting at $17.00 hourly with overtime and an Incentive Bonus Program!!
