Shipping, Receiving, And Inventory Associate

Shipping/Receiving and Inventory associate:

The position compiles, calculates, audits, counts and prepares documentation for all outbound shipments, receiving and Inventory. This position also uses the ERP system and excel to manage the flow of information. In this role, you also schedule and manage outbound freight shipments, and physically count inventories. You will work closely with other members of the team in this fast paced role.

Responsibilities:

• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with customer service and management and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Provides additional backup support to other team members.

Work Hours & Benefits:

This position is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 PM with occasional weekend work for inventory counting. Summer hour flexibility available and vacation time.

Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Qualifications/Skills:

• Preparing of shipping documentation within ERP system.
• Receiving, validating, and audit of inbound manufacturing components.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to count inventory accurately and precisely.
• Ability to climb and maneuver through inventory to perform counts in all climate conditions.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 24 months within related field of shipping/receiving and Inventory control experience.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems and excel. These are an essential part of the position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.61 - $23.61 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
