We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Associate to join our team. As a Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by ensuring accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments.
```Duties```
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment (Forklift and pallet jack)
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
- Sort, label, and stock received items in designated areas
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and update records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with order fulfillment as needed (Picking or packing orders and/or shipping)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area as well assist in weekly building cleaning
- Must be able to lift 50lb boxes throughout the workday
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures
