You get paid Weekly. Every Friday.
This can be a very fast-paced working environment. Applicants for this role should be conscientious, efficient, and organized with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You must be able to deal with diverse groups of individuals and situations with a high degree of tact and good judgment.
The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, flexible with job requirements and have some experience with construction material, equipment & supplies. Forklift operation, customer service and some heavy lifting will be required. We will provide forklift training.
What you need:
Must Haves:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Full range of motion and dexterity
- Basic knowledge of construction material and material handling
- Ability to obtain a forklift operators permit (we will provide your training).
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record is required
Nice to Haves:
- Construction material experience a plus
What you will be doing:
- Report directly to the Branch Manager for daily dispatch and priority tasks.
- Ensure all customers receive excellent service in an efficient, professional, and respectful manner.
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipment orders, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist loading product for customers.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery.
- Assist with rental check in/ check out when needed.
- Assist with sorting, loading, and unloading intercompany transfers.
- Checking material in and putting away in proper place, neatly and safely
- Assist with receiving product into the system.
- Cleaning, Maintaining and Organizing storage and yard areas.
- Operate forklift (after completed training).
