Job Summary:
This position reports to the HR Director, is responsible for administrative work and the coordination of many HR-related functions of the agency. This position is responsible for setting up applicants for interviews during the hiring process and new employee orientation, maintaining and updating personnel and confidential files, assisting employees with human resource-related inquiries, and all other human resource-related functions. Duties may also include serving as liaison to the County HR department, and performing other duties as directed. Work requires using independent judgment. A person in this position does not supervise others and performs under the supervision of the Budget Manager/HR Director.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. A high school education, GED, or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills equivalent is preferred; any combination of education and training that is dictated by the agency’s standard operating procedures. The preferred applicant will have two years’ experience in Human Resources or similar field. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States or qualified to work in the United States, have no felony convictions, possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s history, and pass a background check and a drug screening.
