The HR Assistant position is an entry level position that will be responsible for all basic clerical functions within the office -- answering the phones, filing, greeting visitors, assisting the HR Director and all staff with any projects, and will support the Onboarding and Recruitment functions within HR. The ideal candidate would be someone who is looking to get their foot in the door with a job in HR, preferably someone who has education such as an Associates degree in HR or a related field. Applicants must have a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and initiative. There is opportunity for growth for the ideal candidate.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year in an office setting as an Admin Assistant, Receptionist, or related role, demonstrated excellent Microsoft Office skills, knowledge and experience working with web-based software, knowledge and experience working with basic office equipment (telephones, copier, scanner, fax, etc.) and excellent interpersonal skills. Prefer HR experience and/or education. Prefer healthcare experience and/or knowledge of regulatory agencies such as DNV or Joint Commission.
The selected candidate must understand that learning HR basics and office processes can take time to ensure the individual can be successful. Our training process allows the candidate to slowly learn the flow within the office in a demonstrative environment. The candidate should be prepared to take notes, show initiative to perform tasks, and handle both mundane and technical tasks with ease.
