We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Technology Control Management to join our team! This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Identify the correct Engineering stakeholders, liaise with them, and review their responses to requests from External Audit (KPMG) related to the Centrally Managed IT Services (CMITS) SOC 1 and SOC 2 Audits and various other external audits.
- Track progress of external audits and provide updates to Engineering senior management.
- Engage with relevant Engineering stakeholders and engineering senior management to address any potential exceptions/findings from external audits.
- Develop, in consultation with Engineering stakeholders, management responses and remediation plan to address any final exceptions/findings from external audits.
- Review Internal Audit issues on a continuous basis that may impact the controls in the CMITS SOC reports. Analyze the issue and document a conclusion as to why it would or would not impact the report.
- Supporting the execution of Risk framework practices.
- Uses knowledge of information technology, risk and control frameworks, risk and control theory and practice, and controls implementation and assessment to determine potential risks to the organization.
- Manages analysis and draws conclusions to recommend and direct any resulting change needed to mitigate risk.
- Responsible for implementing risk framework and identifying, analyzing, monitoring, reporting, and minimizing information technology risks.
- Consult and advise on all technology risk matters. Supports related risk programs: audit response, regulatory inquiry, and response, etc.
- Manages complex projects that involve working with the businesses to improve controls to mitigate any deficiencies.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication. Communications and organization skills; teamwork skills; possess strong interpersonal skills to support mentoring.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Experience in the audit or financial services industry is preferred
- CISA, CISSP or CRISC and ISACA certifications preferred.
