The Senior Vice President - Commercial (SVPCO) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's commercial function. Reporting directly to the CEO, the SVPCO will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our global strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue and profitability.

- Develop a comprehensive commercial strategy and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and profitability.
- Responsible for creating and implementing a customer experience above all others through new processes, products, and continuous operational improvements.
- Develop a high-performing and cohesive commercial team that is well-regarded in the industry.
Sales and Business Development:
- Oversee the global sales team and provide strategic direction to set and achieve revenue targets and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and geographic / industry markets to expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Marketing and Branding:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns that promote our company, brand, and products effectively.
- Utilize market research and analysis to identify global opportunities, trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, adjusting marketing strategies accordingly.
Product Development and Innovation:
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Direct product development leaders to ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage commercial budgets, forecasts, category target margins, and financial plans to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess commercial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within a manufacturer or distributor in the life sciences industry.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative commercial strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.

- Preferred Onsite, in leu of onsite a minimum 50% travel to Pennsylvania headquarters is required.
