We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Agile Learning & Performance, Engineering to join our People Team organization. This is a Hybrid role that can be located in either Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as the Learning and Development core point of contact for Engineering People Partners and business leaders to support them in achieving their objectives through people. Align and execute learning strategy for the Engineering team, leveraging tools and programs from the People Team and building out specific role-based training curricula; using most current learning modalities to increase on-the-job performance and increase performance.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with people partners, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to become a trusted partner. Consult with business leaders on existing or anticipated learning and performance gaps.
- Anticipate Engineering development needs and recommend effective learning and non-learning solutions to resolve people-related business challenges and opportunities, achievement of desired outcomes, and improvement in key business performance metrics. Implement approach for personal development plans.
- Provide leadership to a team of senior professionals responsible for curating and creating Engineering learning programs. Directly oversee Engineering learning and development programs and direct high visibility complex learning initiatives. Provide perspective of assigned region or area to support the global roll-out, implementation and monitoring of programs.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Previous and demonstrated experience in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in organization development, psychology, technology, business or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of total work experience and 2 years of supervisory/management experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of technical aspects of learning program and curriculum design, program assessment and delivery methodologies.
- Coaching and Influencing Skills: Asks powerful questions to diagnose root issues; leverages a variety of techniques to align stakeholders towards common goals and courses of action.
- Talent and Development Thought Leader: Well versed and current in leading practices and vendor solutions across the talent and development industry; proactively applies these insights in talent and development consulting engagement with stakeholders, leading the way to optimal outcomes.
- Strong Communication Skills: Clearly articulates necessary information to audience in written, oral, and visual forms; "reads the room” to flex and adapt style appropriate to the audience; actively listens and applies emotional intelligence to navigate conversations to reach desired outcomes; projects calm confidence, empathy, grace under pressure.
