The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Tax and will be part of the Finance Organization of Yelp. This ambitious, fun and collaborative team takes care of all things corporate tax related for all of Yelp’s entities, including our international locations.

At least 3+ years of experience in a tax, accounting, or finance related position, we’re sure you know what’s expected in this type of role, but aside from working on domestic and international indirect taxes, tax accounting processes, and incomes taxes there are lots to get your teeth into here!

What you'll do:
- Assist with preparation and calculation of income tax accounting and compliance
- Assist with accounting and compliance related to non-income based and transaction taxes
- Assist with monthly tax accruals, journal entries and related supporting documentation, and related balance sheet reconciliations!
- Assist with tax audits, assessments and requests for information and other typical tax duties (audits, property taxes, etc.)
- Working on financial statement disclosures related to income taxes
- Assist with tax credit analysis
- Researching and assistance with ad-hoc tax projects, including tax planning
- Assist with various projects, including new system implementations
What it takes to succeed:
- Have at least 3+ years of relevant experience in a tax, accounting, or finance related position
- Have strong technological skills and are willing to learn new tools.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Team-oriented with confidence in dealing with people at all organizational levels within Yelp
It would be great if you also had the following:
- Internet or software industry experience
- B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Certified Public Accounting license
- Experience with Oracle, Alteryx, OneSource Tax Provision

- Compensation range for this position is $86,000.00- $145,000.00 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
