The Atlantic Group has partnered with a reputable public manufacturing company headquartered in North Andover, MA that is looking for a talent Senior Tax Analyst to join their dynamic team.
As the Senior Tax Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in U.S. tax operations, encompassing compliance, strategic planning, dispute resolution, and financial reporting.
*Responsibilities:*
* Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. tax provisions, conducting thorough investigations to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate roll-forward of deferred tax items.
* Compile U.S. federal and state income tax returns, incorporating international disclosures, quarterly estimates, and extensions.
* Identify and compute U.S. GAAP/tax variances, including nuanced elements.
* Maintain tax accounts, conducting monthly reconciliations, and address inquiries from tax authorities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally on tax-related initiatives and filings across departments.
* Drive operational efficiencies within the tax department, optimizing processes and functionalities.
* Liaise with external tax consultants on compliance and tax optimization endeavors.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA designation or CPA candidate status, with preference for a Masters in Taxation (or MST candidacy).
* 3+ of experience in corporate tax within large-scale organizations.
* Public accounting experience preferred
