This job operates in a professional office environment with a combination of in-office and on-site location in the North/Northwest Suburbs. May include some evenings and weekends with some flexibility in hours allowed. Growing family office seeks experienced residential Property Manager to oversee initial lease up and management of new construction multifamily/attached-multi-family properties in the Northwest Suburbs and assist in servicing an existing commercial rental portfolio.
- · Oversee advertising and marketing for initial lease-up
- · Lead the leasing program including conducting showings and corresponding with prospective tenants
- · On-board new tenants including application, screening, credit check, lease generation and execution
- · Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations including tenant relations, tenant services, repairs, maintenance, turnover and leasing strategy
- · Secure competitive bids for property management services
- · Track financial performance and create monthly reporting including leasing, budgets, capital improvements and maintenance
- · Assist in operations, management and maintenance of existing commercial property portfolio
- Perform regular property inspections for cleanliness, curb appeal, and to ensure property is free of hazards.
- · Work with principals and office staff to coordinate leasing, bookkeeping, and operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideal candidate a meticulous self-starter with excellent people skills and a positive attitude.
- Multifamily property management experience required
- Agents or leasing License
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Good supervisory and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Property Management software preferred.
- Highly developed written, verbal and relational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
