Job Summary:
The Sr. Office Coordinator assists in the daily office operations and workplace services programs at Vail Resorts’ Corporate Office, including daily staffing of the mailroom. This role requires exceptional employee service skills, previous Office Coordinator or similar experience, and an ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines as required
Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.44
- Shift & Schedule Availability:Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Staff mailroom daily, including sorting incoming mail and mass quantities of packages, creating outgoing shipping labels, working with resort and VRR mailroom and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries, partnering with IT to manage all incoming and outgoing equipment, and managing and metering all outgoing mail (up to thousands of pieces of mail a day)
- Validate, create and issue access badges (new employee, vendors, temp employee badges)
- Manage Workplace Services tickets in Service Now; assist the office manager with janitorial, building and furniture requests
- Perform regular office walkthroughs; maintain a clean and safe office environment
- Partner with the office manager to schedule vendors to repair or service various building maintenance items (HVAC, plumbing, door repairs, etc.).
- Assist with large in-office events including booking, room set up, etc.
- Maintain kitchen inventories and restocking
- Act as I-9 leader
- Support special projects as assigned by the office manager
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years of office experience or similar experience
- Valid driver’s license
- English required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inform cross-functional teams, business and vendor partners
- Flexibility with schedule to accommodate off-hour projects
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Able to operate an automatic vehicle
- Able to walk short to moderate distances
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with office equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner, etc.)
- Previous customer service experience
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $20.00 - $26.44. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
