THE ROLE: SENIOR FP&A ANALYST (NYC)
Levain is looking for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst who will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, trends, and performance to support effective decision-making and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will utilize their skill, talent, knowledge and experience to support management in financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting for the organization’s growth and expansion.
This role will report into the VP of Finance.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with the FP&A reporting suite including but not limited to monthly P&Ls, weekly KPI reporting, and labor analysis
- Support the forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business analytics processes across Levain’s channels (Bakery, Ecommerce, Corporate)
- Partner with the VP of Finance to assess the financial and operating metrics that effectively explain business performance
- Proactively identify and communicate business trends & anomalies that appear in our weekly KPIs
- Aid in the development of standard and ad hoc financial models and analysis in support of key business questions and decision-making processes, including product pricing, promotion evaluations, new product development, and bakery operations
- Develop key relationships with business partners across Operations, HR and Marketing and leverage the combination of business knowledge and data-based analysis to help influence decision-making across Levain
- Provide support for monthly finance and quarterly board deck presentations
- Proactively work to improve our team wide reporting processes & models
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BS or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of FP&A relevant experience required
- Must be able to travel to NYC a few times per week
- Advanced in Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proactive about driving change via analytics with a curiosity for learning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Team player, with a positive attitude, who is proactive and accountable
- Background in Retail/Food preferred but not required
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
- Experience with Tableau a plus
Compensation:
$90,000 - $115,000
