The Senior FP&A Analyst will:
- Work with functional leadership to deliver monthly forecasts
- Collaborate with multiple departments, connecting data from multiple sources, to come up with short term and long-term projections
- Document and validate forecast assumptions
- Provide recommendations and / or action plan to close gaps
- Support month-end close and distribute reporting for meetings
- Work closely with shared service center to ensure seamless flow of information in support of financial close
- Review revenue and expense trends to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Help prepare, or coordinate the preparation of, required accruals and reclasses
- Analyze results
- Build out budget timeline, working backwards from region deadlines
- Work closely with functional leaders to ensure the completeness and accuracy of budget data entered into Anaplan
- Help facilitate reviews of the budget with functional leaders
- Help prepare business cases to validate and support any recommendations for investment and/or material change YoY
- Develop financial models that provide the business with actionable data in support of decision making, business plans and strategic initiatives
- Track corporate initiatives and investments as appropriate
- Bachelor's degree in finance, related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years' work experience in an accounting / finance role
- 3+ years' experience in a corporate setting or similar, with emphasis on areas such as reporting development, financial planning and analysis, business analytics, and financial modeling
- Experience utilizing: Microsoft Power BI tools, Anaplan model-building
- Ability to work with large volume of data using advanced software skills (MS Excel, MS Access, or other similar software)
- Ability to resolve issues under tight timeframes and pressure
- Process improvement and project and change management skills/experience
- Ability to prioritize assignments and projects and to multi-task within restricted time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and planning skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail orientation with solid analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Master's degree
