The Scheduling Coordinator is often our patients' first point of contact with the practice. Scheduling Coordinators are responsible for scheduling patients for their exams and for giving them any necessary instructions in preparation for their exam. By providing exceptional customer service, the Imaging Scheduler helps patients feel comfortable and at ease as they accurately obtain all necessary information and guide the patient through the imaging process. They make sure the patient stays informed and knows what to expect during their visit. They may also respond to visitor requests and answer department phones. Completing these duties provides the Imaging Scheduler the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of many on a daily basis.
- Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry
- Customer service experience
- Medical terminology
- Prior radiology experience is a plus.
- Bilingual a plus
