Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a dental receptionist role
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable
- Schedule appointments efficiently, utilizing our digital scheduling system
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information and addressing patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and process payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the dental office
- Collaborate closely with dental staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental or medical receptionist
- Proficiency in dental office software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is advantageous
