What You Can Expect
As the Project Controls Analyst Senior, based in Houston, TX you will work within the Project Delivery Team’s Project Management Office (PMO) as the primary scheduling expert/resource for Project Managers. In addition, as part of the PMO team, the Project Controls Analyst will set standards and define the processes to use to monitor, update, and analyze project schedules. The Analyst will collaborate with all project teams and the project controls staff within the Business Unit, and liaise with personnel at the Group Business Unit level as necessary.
- Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader, your primary duties encompass:
- Prepares, updates, and distributes project schedules in support of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project Managers
- As part of the PMO team, establishes and maintains schedule templates for BESS projects throughout the project life cycle
- Works with Project Managers to understand all project tasks, their durations, and predecessor/successor relationships; developing standard sub-schedules as appropriate for groups of activities, such as commissioning
- Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for project scheduling assisting PMs with analysis and critique of schedules provided by EPC Contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and other contracted parties; including their information in the project team’s schedules
- Supports the contracting and claims through analysis and forensic review of schedules and activities
- Completes other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, science, or technical discipline required
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in project scheduling
- Direct experience creating, monitoring, and updating project schedules for physical/construction projects
- Broad knowledge of various project management and scheduling techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to function as a member of a multi-function team
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) MS Project, Primavera and Procore
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- An ability to exhibit flexibility which may require late night and/or weekend attention to projects, and/or short notice travel to address project issues
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
