The Opportunity
The Project Controls Scheduler will work collaboratively with both internal Ulteig and external client project team members to develop, manage and control project schedules, costing, reporting and administration for utility scale transmission and renewable energy projects in various life-cycle phases from development through commercial operation. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively with Project Manager and clients project teams.
What You'll Do
  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible
  • Manage project schedule including, but not limited to critical path, cost loading, schedule content, relationships and logic, constraints, and milestones
  • Assess impacts to the schedule critical path activities; report deviations and variances and assist in the developing action plans for corrective measures
  • Track scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance
  • Track, manage, report change control for project scope, schedule, and cost
  • Manage project request for information (RFI)
  • Document and track project meeting actions as directed
  • Capture and document lessons learned
  • Support project contracting activities including scoping, administration, monthly accruals, and performance to contract
  • Attend and facilitate project/management meetings as required
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client and project team
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consistently produces results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes
  • Achieves results by problem solving, setting priorities and organization
  • Maintains customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner

What We Expect from You
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years relevant scheduling experience in the utility, energy, construction, or engineering field
  • Experience using Primavera P6 is desired
  • Must have strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project and client-related needs
  • Must have permanent work authorization for the US

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% ofPosition Mid-Point of$98,000*
