Ensunet Technology Group is a San Diego based minority IT and staffing firm dedicated to delivering IT solutions that produce real results and return on investment for our clients. Ensunet serves global Fortune 500 enterprises companies, government, and select defense sectors. Our minority certification combined with experience in cyber security, AWS, and SAP has generated significant interest within the utility sector. We are looking for a Utilities Practice Leader to assist us in driving the next stage of growth.

Summary:

The Utilities Practice Leader will have P&L responsibilities for building a scalable practice in the utilities sector. The primary expectation is to grow the practices portfolio of services, strategic accounts, and C-level relationship within the utilities vertical. The successful candidate should have deep industry insights, understand the buying and selection process utilities undertake to position Ensunet Technology Group, and have an existing network of contacts to allow for accelerated growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Grow and Deliver Value

Develop an annual utilities growth plan and provide quarterly business updates to the management team.

Manage and oversee utilities P&L against agreed upon KPI metrics and targets.

Manage and oversee all aspects of sales and delivery within Ensunet's utility practice.

Leverage and develop relationships to drive net-new business.

Cultivate existing and develop new partnerships to drive growth.

Maintain and enhance competitive insights necessary to position Ensunet services against a highly competitive market.

Ability to drive & lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & achieve results.

Support the recruiting and hiring of top talent to deliver on contract commitments and growth targets.

Ability to develop and oversee all aspects of the proposal process.

Ability to negotiate and close new work.

Work closely with the VP of sales on strategy to exceed revenue goals and targets.

Leverage internal tools to support management and reporting of progress against goals.

Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a strong desire to learn and shape one's own career path. Ownership in Solution incubation and IP-creation

Thought Leadership

Develop go-to-market perspectives, enhance marketing and sales collateral to align to utilities and target clients.

Support and publish content to drive interest in Ensunet's offerings and capabilities.

Represent Ensunet at professional and industry events to enhance brand and position for new business.

Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the utility sector

Maintain a finger on the pulse of the utilities sector, interpreting market trends, technological advances, and regulatory shifts to inform business strategy.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor"s degree in business, Information Technology, or a field related to utilities.

Minimum of 5 years in the utilities sector with experience selling IT staffing and enterprise technology.

Extensive network of key contacts within the utilities sector. Candidate with strong contacts and relationships at Sempra, So Cal Edison, and LADWP is highly desirable.

Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex deals in a consultative manner.

Proficiency in industry-specific CRM software, such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
