As a Sales Strategy Support Analyst II in our Home Lending Channels, you will have the opportunity to promote our Community & Affordable Lending (C&AL) strategy. You will work as an internal consultant, addressing key topics and leading our communication framework. This role provides a unique chance to influence various lines of business within our mortgage sector, including National Sales, Governance & Controls, and Product Innovation, among others.
Community & Affordable Lending is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategies to increase homeownership among minorities across the full economic spectrum and low-to-moderate income customers and communities while managing regulatory and reputational risk. Our strategies comprise of six key pillars:
- People – attract, retain and grow a diverse organization
- Presence– be visibly and actively present, both physically and virtually, in minority and low-to-moderate income communities leveraging all our sales distribution models
- Partners – build and enhance our relationship with key influencers and/or referral sources within the local communities
- Products/Programs – create, enhance and provide product/program awareness to increase access to credit
- Promotion – provide appropriate marketing and outreach in the communities we serve
- Policy Reform – drive policy reform to enable equal access to credit, increase housing supply and availability as well as wealth creation. Our goal is to partner across all LOBs within CCB and Home Lending to drive the Community & Affordable Lending strategic framework
This is a hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) role located in Columbus OH. This role is not eligible for immigrations sponsorship or relocation assistance.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with C&AL team and partners from product, distribution channels, finance, marketing, customer experience, and other business functions
- Facilitate the Strategic Governance processes, from inception to senior management updates
- Maintain and enhance reporting to leverage in Business Reviews and other recurring deliverables (e.g. Executive Management Reporting, Home Lending Committees, meetings with Regulators, etc.)
- Developing and delivering concise communications to senior management
- Capture takeaways from meetings and ensure timely follow-up and prioritization
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or prior work experience
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda
- Excellent written and oral communication, organization and project management skills
- Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence while adhering to deadlines
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Mortgage business, data analytics, modeling, mathematics, or business management reporting
- Knowledge and experience user of Alteryx, Tableau
- Advanced user of PowerPoint and Excel
- Relationship Management: Ability to partner and/or collaborate across all lines of businesses among different levels of leaders and teams to influence, gain buy-in/support and execute against program deliverables
