Position Overview:
The Director of Strategy plays a critical role at our agency, leading strategic initiatives across the organization. Services include presales engineering, SEO, content strategy, and process optimization. This position requires a mix of analytical acumen, creative vision, and leadership skills to ensure our agency not only meets but exceeds client expectations and supports our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Presales Engineering: Work closely with the sales team to analyze prospective clients' needs, crafting customized solutions that lead to successful engagements.
- Client Site Analysis/CRO: Perform detailed evaluations of client websites, identifying areas for optimization and growth.
- SEO Services Development: Lead the creation and execution of effective SEO strategies for clients and our website, adhering to best practices for optimal results.
- Content Strategy: Direct the strategy and production of content that aligns with SEO goals, driving brand engagement, website traffic, and conversions.
- Process Development: Design and implement streamlined processes for project management and delivery, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Presentation Development: Lead the creation of engaging, data-driven presentations for presales pitches, SEO performance reporting, and strategic recommendations, ensuring clear communication to both internal and external audiences.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of strategists, SEO specialists, and content creators, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with other departments, including marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and integration of e-commerce initiatives with broader business strategies.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in a strategic role within an e-commerce or digital marketing agency.
- Extensive knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and web analytics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for presenting complex data in an accessible manner.
- Presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Extensive knowledge of leading e-commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Magento, Big Commerce, Shopify),
