ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a Materials Coordinator. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.
Specific Job Requirements:
Act as a representative to all tier II suppliers developing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with all suppliers.
Create efficient paperwork systems that minimize clerical functions and maximize accurate accounts payable requirements.
Manage supplier performance measurable indicators and track the supplier's performance against these measurables utilizing QPF system.
Review, maintain and reconcile supplier cumulatives.
Assist in managing transportation logistics for incoming and outbound freight for all incoming components.
Complete and maintain the materials requirements for obtaining TS-16949 certification & MMOG certification and conforming to the requirements of on-going audits.
Continuously examine the supply chain network in order to identify opportunities to reduce on hand inventory, decrease logistics costs, increase number of inventory turns, and improve the overall supply chain efficiency.
Effectively manage the receipt of in-coming purchased items for prompt inventory recognition and control in predetermined multi-location storage.
Integrate the incoming sequence broadcast releases from our customer down to the accurate scheduling of our Tier II suppliers.
Continuously improve the accuracy of information and track the measurable improvement (KPI involvement) for reporting back to the management team.
Integral part of the APQP process to include: part set-up within MRP System, scheduling changeover with supplier, materials bill of material reviews for MaFact compliance, and ensuring timely material availability and communication of all engineering changes for program assigned.
Assist in writing and enforcing work instructions and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Educational Requirements:
A minimum of an associate's degree in a related field or relevant work experience is required.
Work Experience Requirements:
A minimum of five years' experience in an automotive plant environment with two to three years in a position utilizing a fully integrated MRP/ERP System is required.
Demonstrated computer skills in EDI, MS Windows, Internet and Outlook
(or a comparable email system).
Experience with a fully integrated manufacturing software package a must (TRANS4M-Infor/QAD/SAP).
Must maintain excellent communications skills working with customers, suppliers and the entire organizational team.
Must be very detail oriented.
Must be highly motivated and comfortable with change.
Knowledge of TS16949, ISO, and MMOG requirements a plus.
