Form of workResponsible for developing business growth opportunities in an assigned region. This is done through building a pipeline of new prospects primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
A Day in the Life
- Develop pipeline by building interest with new prospects and clients resulting from your own outbound research and activities including email, phone and/or social media
- Set meetings for sales team for product demonstrations with interested prospects (from both inbound leads and your own self-sourced leads)
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to initiate the sales cycle with specific, targeted demand generation campaigns with prospects and current clients
- Respond to all inbound leads and log activities in CRM
- Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of solutions and be able to clearly articulate the advantages over competitors
- Meet monthly quotas for overall activity, demonstrations set & conducted, and qualified opportunity dollars
- Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fufilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, communications, etc.)
We are looking for someone who brings
- Has a Passion to Build a Career in Technology Solution Sales
- 2+ years of software/SaaS sales, preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a Sales or Business Development role/ telemarketing role
- Has a Bachelor’s degree, preferred (minimum High School Diploma or GED)
- Has experience selling in the tech industry
- Has a proven track record of successful prospect engagement
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Has the ability to manage multiple relationships
- Has attention to detail with excellent organization skills
- Has contagious positivity
- Has effective time management skills
- Preference if has experience with Salesforce.com and/or Salesloft
- Can build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels, internally, externally, intra and interdepartmentally
- Is proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Can demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
