We are looking for a Project Accounting Assistantto join our Finance team!
Responsible for the operational and financial administration for the business region/business unit, working with the local PM's. Making sure the region is maintaining a sound communication within the various departments and the overall organization.
Success in the role is achieved by ensuring the KPI's goals are attained for Days Revenue Outstanding (DRO) to ensure the company maintains a positive working capital ratio. This is accomplished by ensuring we have accurate and timely information for all projects to meet the clients' requirements though timesheet processing, invoicing, vendor management, collections efforts and any compliance/regulatory requirements the clients may have.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce draft invoices for contract Principals/PM's to review, then submit in accordance with the client requirements and complete any forms required
- Review vendor invoices and code consultant/subcontractors
- Setup projects/phases/tasks in the accounting software
- Follow-up on outstanding receivables
- Manage outstanding WIP, follow up with project Principals/PM's
- Close projects - work with Project Accountant's & Finance Manager
- Work with regional managers on the overall operations - contracts, projects, WIP, Receivables and resources.
- Supporting F&A with monthly close process
- Assist Finance Manages, Project Accountants, Operations Controller with standardizing processes and procedures.
- Ad hoc requests from regional managers, Finance Manager, Operations or F&A
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' professional services invoicing experience with Deltek Vision
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business-related field is recommended
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & MS Suite
- Self-starter, highly motivated individual with strong organization skills, attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and analyze information
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
$55,000 - $70,000 a year
