Job Summary: As a Senior Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth by acquiring new healthcare provider clients and working as the sales liaison with the recruitment team to deploy qualified nurses into your accounts. Within a year, you should have 50-75 nurses out on contract or more and then will gladly take on the challenge of exceeding the company record having more than 175 nurses out on contract in your territory. You will be a critical component of expanding MAGNUS’s business into the United States, promoting our staffing services to healthcare facilities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Requirements :

Two years of previous phone sales & business-to-business healthcare staffing sales or full desk recruitment experience required. We really want someone who is intelligent, driven & enjoys the thrill of the hunt! Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment but can also thrive independently. Being self-motivated, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude is a MUST! We offer a competitive base salary plus an extremely generous commission structure with no caps where our top lowest paid salesperson makes $170,000/yr and our highest paid makes over $450,000!!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Identify and research potential clients within hospitals, assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care facilities.

    • Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and online platforms.

    • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects that you review weekly with your manager, removing the ‘fluff’ and closing the rest.

  • Client Acquisition:

    • Conduct presentations and meetings to showcase Magnus HRS services.

    • Collaborate with decision-makers to understand their staffing needs and challenges.

    • Propose tailored staffing solutions to meet client requirements.

  • Relationship Building:

    • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with your clients and your internal stakeholders (teammates).

    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

    • Stay informed about industry trends and client needs.

  • Contract Negotiation:

    • Work with MAGNUS’s Director of Recruitment to help negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, including pricing and service agreements.

    • Work closely with the management team to ensure contracts align with company policies.

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions utilizing the company’s proprietary Sales tools.

    • Communicate weekly on sales performance, including achievements and challenges.

    • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for self-improvement.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand the candidate pool and skillsets.

    • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Market Research:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

    • Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in healthcare staffing sales or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and staffing solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
