Our client, now in their 47th year in the Souvenir Business, selling to Zoo's, Aquariums, Museums, Theme Parks, Airport Shops, Cruise Ships, and Souvenir Gift Shops is seeking a high energy, motivated, and well-organized experienced Sales & Marketing individual with a strong business acumen. The role of Sales Development Representativewill have a proven track record for owning key accounts, fostering relationships, effectively negotiating, and delivering results.
Responsibilities for this position focus on:
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn into long-term partnerships
- Present products to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients to understand their needs
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming at customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) a plus!
- Able to travel to 4 to 6 trade shows per year
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
- Enjoy challenges and problem-solving!
- Desires to be a dynamic contributor and individual on a team; not a number!
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate!
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
Location/Job Type: This role is a full-time salaried role. The team environment is crucial to the success of this role and requires work to be performed in-office (when not traveling or visiting customers) in the client's Hallandale, FL office.
