Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative to join our reputable public adjusting firm. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process by generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and establishing initial relationships with potential clients. We specialize in large commercial and residential property insurance claims damaged by hurricanes, tornadoes, fire, hail and more. Public adjusters assess property damage, review insurance policies, document and estimate losses, negotiate with insurance adjusters, and help secure a fair and maximum settlement for the policyholder.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients via various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media platforms.
- Conduct extensive market research to identify potential leads and target industries.
- Engage in consultative conversations to understand potential clients' needs and assess their eligibility for our services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective lead generation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Educate potential clients about our firm's services, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development roles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients over the phone and through written communication.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to influence decision-making processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry, public adjusting, roofing, or water restoration is advantageous but not essential.
