Responsibilities:
- Engaging with Durable Medical Equipment vendors.
- Assisting with issues related to incorrect or damaged equipment.
- Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of program policies.
- Billing procedures.
- Continuously advancing medical expertise to communicate with healthcare professionals effectively.
- Relaying patient needs to the appropriate Care Team specialists for prompt issue resolution.
- Regular auditing of patient information.
- Maintaining communication among the Care team, Patients, and caregivers.
- Cross-training with Case Management.
- Assisting patients with Medical and Mileage reimbursements.
