We're seeking an exceptional HR Coordinator to help uphold our mission across our utility-scale solar and battery storage projects throughout the contiguous US. THE OPPORTUNITY
Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Supervisor: People Operations Manager
Classification: Salaried, exempt (Administrative/Professional)
Summary Description:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for maintaining human resources records and documentation, creating, and distributing human resources procedures, maintaining workplace programs, completing data entry tasks, and assisting with onboarding.
HR Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with processing new hires into HRIS, completing I-9 forms, utilizing E-Verify
- Maintains digital copies of employees' records
- Assists with processing of terminations
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with Learning management and tracking
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist with verification of employment and unemployment claims
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and manage projects assigned through completion with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as a highly resourceful team player under pressure and within deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information and exercise discretion and judgment.
- Comfortable working in a highly visible role
- Positive and personable
- Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability
- Experience using HR software and HRIS databases
- Reliable, people person who enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals and puts employee requirements and needs first
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills, a focused listener.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license & clean driving record
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities at that time, subject to changes as business needs change.
Work Environment
- Ideal candidate should be physically able to sit in front of a computer every workday for long hours at a time.
- Work can be fast-paced and demanding.
- This job operates in a professional yet casual office environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax, and mail machines.
- This position works in an office setting and interacting with employees, vendors, callers, internal customers, management, and other business team members.
Travel
Limited travel is expected in this position.
