Job Summary
Under the supervision of the HR Director, the Recruiting Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of services by the HR Recruiting team by designing a recruitment strategy that aligns the hiring strategy of the organization. The Manager oversees all recruiting and staffing activities related to the selection, hiring and onboarding of talent into OHU programs. The Recruiting Manager guides and develops recruiting staff to ensure that candidates for employment meet the minimum qualifications needed for the continuation of a qualified and skilled workforce. The Manager guides recruiters in developing recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as in developing new and creative recruiting initiatives. The Recruiting Manager serves as the ambassador for new hires, to help further promote the organization's brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees and manages the recruitment team in implementing full life cycle recruitment for designated positions including developing sourcing strategies, posting positions, actively sourcing candidates and leading assessment/interview processes
• Provides ongoing supervision and coaching for recruiters in developing knowledge of current market trends as it relates to talent, and develops in them the qualities and skills that result in effective talent pipeline growth and management
• Trains recruiters in utilizing creative recruiting techniques including but not limited to job board management, social media, cold calling, networking events, engagement with industry organizations and college/university recruiting
• Coaches recruiters in effective communication with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract a diverse slate of talent and to onboard new employees effectively
• Provides support in overcoming recruitment barriers and guides their effective escalation, monitoring recruiter's candidate pipeline caliber and flow
• Attends HR/Recruitment weekly LOS calls as needed to provide effective support and empowerment
• Meets with Executive Directors twice a month to develop LOS recruitment strategies and to address barriers to effective service
• Serves as a liaison for Talent Acquisition between Human Resources, Hiring Managers, Vendors and External Customers
• Continually reviews recruiting process for effectiveness and ROI, providing feedback and making changes as necessary
• Actively manages and improves Applicant Tracking System (ATS) documentation and details throughout staff's recruitment process for compliance and reporting.
• Coaches recruiters in effective candidate interviews for specific administrative and operational positions including (but not limited to): obtaining Candidate availability, managing candidate paperwork, scheduling interviews in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and confirming interviews
• Responsible for developing effective recruitment e-documentation system for all requisitions and candidate activity; guiding recruiters in keeping timely and tailored data; generates and distributes Recruitment Activity Reports
• Establishes effective collaboration with HR Onboarding team and Payroll to assist with the on-boarding of new employees; including drug screens, system set-up, announcements, bonuses and new employee paperwork
• Oversees continuous quality improvement of Recruitment program

Qualifications
Education Bachelor's degree required
Experience 5 -7 years of experience in full life cycle recruitment; direct supervisory experience of at least 3 - 5 years
Certification PHR; SPHR preferred
Other Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance.
