Job Description
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong telephone skills
- Operates telephone system to relay incoming calls
- General office experience
- Must have a pleasant, professional attitude and be cooperative and friendly
- Must have professional appearance
- Typing and computer skills, preferred
- Willingness to help other departments by typing, sorting, stuffing envelopes, etc.
- Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/tenants in person or on the telephone
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, greet residents and visitors
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
- Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
- Assist with Community Tours when needed, maintains marketing brochures and move-in packets
- Assist Facility Manager with projects and annual resident’s renewals
- Disperse and record residents receipts
- Distribution of notices and/or informational packets for residents
- Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
- Process and prepare documents, such as business or government forms
