Law Office Assistant

We are a small personal injury law firm in downtown Indianapolis looking for a new member of our team. Our ideal candidate will be able to enthusiastically:

• Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering and directing phone calls, handling email, electronic filings, faxes, mailings and deliveries, filing, scheduling appointments
• Keep the office clean, stocked, and organized, especially the kitchen, conference rooms, postage area, storage closets, and common areas
• Prepare and close the office for the day, such as turning on the lights in the morning, making coffee in the morning, and locking the door in the evening
• Provide support to paralegals, attorneys, and other staff for the smooth operation of the office
• Serve as the first point of contact for guests and vendors
• Track and communicate with inquiries (potential new clients)

Qualifications: 

• Dependable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communications skills including the ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clients, customers and colleagues; handle calls and inquiries in a timely manner
• Must be detail oriented

The position is full time and the hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5pm.
