Job Description
We are a small personal injury law firm in downtown Indianapolis looking for a new member of our team. Our ideal candidate will be able to enthusiastically:
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering and directing phone calls, handling email, electronic filings, faxes, mailings and deliveries, filing, scheduling appointments
- Keep the office clean, stocked, and organized, especially the kitchen, conference rooms, postage area, storage closets, and common areas
- Prepare and close the office for the day, such as turning on the lights in the morning, making coffee in the morning, and locking the door in the evening
- Provide support to paralegals, attorneys, and other staff for the smooth operation of the office
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and vendors
- Track and communicate with inquiries (potential new clients)
Qualifications:
- Dependable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communications skills including the ability to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clients, customers and colleagues; handle calls and inquiries in a timely manner
- Must be detail oriented
The position is full time and the hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5pm.
