About Us

BlueWater Chairs, a 35 Year well established marine teak wood chair, furniture and accessory manufacturer looking for a motivated individual to be our Receptionist/Bookkeeper. With 15 employees, BlueWater Chairs manufactures, refinishes and repairs teak wood furniture, fighting chairs and fishing equipment. This diversified business model along with other lines of income insure consistent work through changing business cycles. Through telephone and face to face meetings in our headquarters and showroom, our personal approach to each customer has galvanized our relationship and continued business with our customer base. The position does not fluctuate with the changes in the marine market

About the Opportunity:

Customer interaction through the telephone and showroom walk in customers provide a dynamic atmosphere. Located at our manufacturing facility, other daily tasks will keep the receptionist/bookkeeper engaged at all times. While in a structured setting, this position encourages the ability to operate various tasks sometimes simultaneously in a very customer focused environment. With these skills, the opportunity for growth within the company is strong.

Responsibilities: The Receptionist/bookkeeper is responsible for answering telephone calls and greeting walk in customers. Other tasks include light accounting work, order processing and invoicing. Exposure to all parts of the company will give the candidate well rounded experience with great potential for plenty of growth within the company.

· Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude

· Professionally answering the phone, and routing calls as necessary

· Filing and other office flow tasks.

· Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks

· Provide excellent customer service

Technical Skills

· Experience and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Product Line specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Experience with Quickbooks Customer and Order Entry areas

· Excellent written & oral communication skills

· Fluent English both written and spoken

Other Qualifications

· Positive approach

· Highly organized with prioritization and time management skills

· The ability to multi-task while working independently

· Comfortable speaking on the phone

· Desire to make a real difference in a small company
