As a Hostess/Front Desk Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our patrons receive exceptional service and have a memorable time at our club.
We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Hostess/Front Desk Representative to be the first point of contact for our members and guests. This position is crucial in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere at our club, ensuring an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities:
· Greeting and Welcoming: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all members and guests as they arrive at the club.
· Reservation Management: Handle reservation bookings for dining, golf tee times, and other club services. Ensure reservations are accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant departments.
· Member and Guest Assistance: Assist members and guests with their inquiries, including providing information about club facilities, events, and services.
· Seating and Seating Assignments: Efficiently manage the seating arrangements in the dining area and ensure that guests are seated according to their preferences.
· Telephone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and take messages in a polite and professional manner.
· Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and issue receipts. Maintain a secure and organized cash register.
· Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the Front Desk area and waiting area clean and tidy. Assist with light cleaning duties as necessary.
· Customer Service: Address member and guest concerns or complaints with patience and empathy, resolving issues promptly or escalating them to the appropriate department.
· Upselling and Promotion: Promote club events, special offers, and memberships to guests.
· Security Awareness: Be vigilant and ensure the safety and security of the club by monitoring entry and exit points and reporting any suspicious activity.
· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other club staff members to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our members and guests
Qualifications:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Customer service-oriented with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic computer skills for reservation management
· Knowledge of golf etiquette (preferred but not required).
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a plus.
