Receptionist

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential job functions:

• Answer the door
  
  • Check visitors in/out
  • Issue temporary ID badges
  • Issue loaner access card to employees
• Notify customers and employees about their Will Call orders via phone and/or email
• Contact customers via email regarding their back orders using established templates
• Mail out customer statements
• Separate incoming mail by recipient/department
• Check product labels for print quality and order accuracy
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Maintain postage meter

Secondary job duties:

• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

• High School or equivalent

Experience:

• 0 – 6 months experience

Skills & abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Knowledge of administrative and office procedures
• Ability to learn quickly

Computer skills:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications such as WORD, Excel and Outlook
• SAP is a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Work Environment:
This position is in the front lobby of a temperature-controlled building.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit up to 6 hours per day
• Must be able to view a computer screen for up to 6 hours per day
