Summary
Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) currently has full time positions available for bi-lingual (Spanish/English) receptionists who can effectively and efficiently:
Duties
Oversees the front desk area, meet and greet all visitors and direct them to proper department.
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (verify ID, monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- First point of contact for families requesting registration appointments (distributes intake packets, explains procedure, schedules appointments).
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Handle cash box collection as needed.
- Open and close the building when necessary.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Required.
- High School Diploma-Required.
- Positive outgoing team player.
- Polite and friendly demeanor.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must love children.
- Must be able to occasionally move between locations in Stamford.
