Receptionist

Summary
Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) currently has full time positions available for bi-lingual (Spanish/English) receptionists who can effectively and efficiently:
Duties
Oversees the front desk area, meet and greet all visitors and direct them to proper department.

• Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (verify ID, monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
• Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
• First point of contact for families requesting registration appointments (distributes intake packets, explains procedure, schedules appointments).
• Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
• Handle cash box collection as needed.
• Open and close the building when necessary.

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Required.
• High School Diploma-Required.
• Positive outgoing team player.
• Polite and friendly demeanor.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must love children.
• Must be able to occasionally move between locations in Stamford.
