Receptionist - Behavioral Health Residential Program
The Receptionist will function as the first point of contact for clients, staff and other visitors to our Waterbury inpatient programs. The Receptionist will also answer outside calls to the agency and direct to the proper department/staff person.
Full-time/Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate Range begins at: $18.98
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree preferred. Receptionist/Administrative background required. Ability to multitask. Must possess and demonstrate a high level of computer knowledge, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent phone manners and communication skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere alongside a multidisciplinary behavioral health team with clients who are in an inpatient setting.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls and ensure that all callers are assisted appropriately. Provide information about Dempsey program as well as other agency programs.
- Order office supplies and assist staff with submitting purchase orders.
- Sort incoming mail.
- Accept deliveries.
- Submit facilities work orders for maintenance.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
