Receptionist

Description:

Job Title: Receptionist, Clinic

Employment: 40 hours/1.0 FTE: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri

Overtime Status: non-exempt

Job Summary:

Responsible for greeting patients and visitors as they enter the clinic. Provides phone, clerical and data entry support including insurance verification and patient registration. Directs patients, visitors and callers to the appropriate parties and answers basic questions.

Experience/Qualifications:

Medical office: 1 year (preferred)

Medical scheduling: 1 year (preferred)

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of courses in Medical Terminology preferred
