SalaryFast- paced Cardiology clinic seeking a dedicated full-time front office receptionist. Must be able to work in high pressure environment for a team of Cardiology providers. EPIC/EHR experience and knowledge of HIPAA is preferred. Must have a positive attitude, ability to work as a team, ability to take direction, ability to manage multiple tasks and the desire to give patients a positive experience. Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Front Office Receptionist is responsible for:
-Checking patients in for appointments:
-Verify identity of patient
-Verify insurance information
-Verify demographic information
-Ensure all necessary forms are complete
-Collect payments on accounts and copays
-Phone coverage
- Facilitating patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
