Job Title:Receiving Clerk
Reports To: QA Manager/Receiving Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for performing receiving responsibilities and processing related paperwork by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Receives and inspects incoming shipments for discrepancies and damage and reports problems promptly to the appropriate person.*
2. Stores leather and warehouse supplies within the warehouse according to product by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.*
3. Signs for incoming deliveries, loads, and unloads delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment as needed.*
4. Maintains receiving documentation in a neat and orderly manner.*
5. Reports receiving details to the appropriate department on a regular and timely basis.*
6. Maintains the warehouse and receiving area in a safe and orderly manner.*
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
