Shoot in-house, high resolutions photos of classic cars, motorcycles, and road art. Travel to various locations and photograph collections. Also sometimes travel to auction to photograph the auction experience. This is a heavy travel job, meaning you could be on the road for several weeks at a time, and also subject to scheduling. Travel is 75% of the time. DON NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE TRAVEL REQUIRMENT.
Responsibilities include:
Analyze and decide how to compose a subject by choosing and setting optimal setting. Enhance the subject's appearance with natural and artificial lighting. Work with various collectors to photograph their vehicles in locations across the U.S. Capture the optimal moments at auction that create emotion and excitement. Collaborate with Presentation team to create images of vehicles for auction catalogs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in photography preferred. PREVIOUS SHOOTING OF AUTOMOBILES IS REQUIRED AND WE WANT TO REVIEW YOUR PORTFOLIO BEFORE TAKING ANY NEXT STEPS. Passion of classic cars highly desired. Extensive knowledge of cameras, lighting, composition, and photo styling. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop. 5-7 years of commercial photography experience with current portfolio available.
