Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
Position Overview:
Responsible for monitoring ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE and interfacing with the customer to resolve payment issues.
Essential Job Functions:
- Collection of Accounts Receivables:
- Contacting customers to ensure payments within terms:
- Send account statements
- Request payment for invoices exceeding payment terms
- Document customer objections to payment
- Reviewing Accounts for shipping release that are on hold
- Gathering information for set up of new customers
- Providing invoices, packing lists and POD to customers requesting information
- Resolving issues and following up on Chargeback’s for Credits/Paybacks
- Data Entry for Expired Materials Lists:
- Updating two spreadsheets to ensure Customer has an accurate account of materials due to expire/sending weekly to Customer
- Data Entry for Commercial Invoices:
- Entering data from Sales Order onto Shipping Invoice to go with overseas shipments
- Data Entry for NAFTA Certification:
- Completing data for fair trade information
Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with basic accounting
- Effective communication skills
- Detail and solutions oriented

- Basic math skills
- Customer service
