Quality Assurance Specialist
1st shift offers four work schedules with flexible start/end times. Work 8-hour days five days a week, 10-hour days four days a week (Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday), or 9-hour days four days a week and a half-day on Friday.

- Responsible for identifying, pre-planning, and completing first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 and customer-specific requirements.
- Review and interpret customer PO, engineering, and other technical data to ensure first article planning captures all required information.
- Review internal manufacturing planning prior to production to ensure customer-specific engineering requirements are captured and planned for appropriately.
- Assist with inspection tool calibration process to ensure timely recall of all inspection tools and equipment.
- Support the Corrective Action Board and facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action activities as assigned.
- Support the NCR process and submit nonconforming product tags to customer Material Review Board for disposition as assigned.
- Assist Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
- Maintain excellent communications and working relationships with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, and Production.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer’s Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100)
- Conform to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
