Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. The Quality Assurance Manager role sits at the intersection of manufacturing precision and unwavering commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement policies ensuring that the pinnacle of quality standards are met consistently.
Pivotal role requires you to build a culture where products hit the highest quality benchmarks right from the first attempt.
With the responsibility of driving continuous improvement of quality controls and Non-Destructive Evaluation methods, you'll use Lean Six Sigma tools to manage site quality KPIs, devise quality control plans, and be the torchbearer of Voice of Customer (VOC) during significant manufacturing changes.
Your leadership will not be confined to in-house teams.
You will collaborate with corporate quality, procurement, and vendors, setting and overseeing quality control procedures ensuring the company's products maintain their stellar quality reputation in the market.
Required Qualifications:
A 4 year degree is preferred. Ideally in a technical field.
Machining or CNC experience.
Quality Leadership experience.
Transformed factory culture to a proactive "stop & fix" quality approach.
Bring over 5 years of quality or manufacturing experience, with over 3 years as a QA manager.
Successfully led a quality department, mentoring inspectors, technicians, and engineers.
Background includes ISO9001 QMS and product conformance certification management.
Lean, Six Sigma, or TPS methodologies are part of your toolkit.
