Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

• Oversees the Quality Assurance department and staff.
• Develops, implements, and maintains a system of quality and testing for products/processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains Quality Assurance staff.
• Monitors testing lab and chemistry lab performance.
• Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination following company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements process procedures for quality, function, and reliability.
• Sets quality standards and parameters for products.
• Communicates standards to QA team and relevant staff.
• Coordinates product testing processes.
• Identifies and analyzes recurring issues, defects, and problems; recommends solutions.
• Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
• Maintains compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 guidelines and policies.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Three to five years of related field experience, supervisory experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
