ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately enter a high volume of alpha & numeric data into Edge, a web base program.
- Entry of purchase orders, subcontracts, change order requests etc.
- Acquire necessary information for new vendor & subcontractor set-up.
- Invoice research, follow-up, and entry.
- Respond to questions from vendors & co-workers at all levels including management.
- Assume any other job responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the department or company.
- Call vendors for invoice collection.
- Assist management and purchasing agents with additional duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have basic computer skills with a minimum 2 years’ Data Entry experience with a typing speed of 40 wpm minimum.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be able to handle large amounts of paperwork in a busy environment with many distractions.
- Microsoft Excel experience a plus, but not required.
- Adobe Acrobat experience is helpful but not required.
