Project Coordinator, JXS Project
Chatham University is accepting applications for the position of Project Coordinator in the Counseling Center, in Student Affairs. The Project Coordinator, a member of the administrative staff of Chatham University, reports to the co-directors of the JXS Project, Dr. Jennifer Morse and Cindy Kerr.

Position Summary:
This full-time position will assist with managing and coordinating clerical and administrative activities associated with a suicide and overdose prevention grant funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. A successful candidate will be attentive to details and will perform clerical and general office duties of a highly responsible nature.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Directors in coordinating JXS Project activities, including programming and outreach events, messaging campaigns, student support groups, and trainings for faculty, staff, and students.
- Assist the Project Directors with coordinating meetings for the JXS Project, including preparing de-identified reports prior to meetings and tracking attendance.
- Assist the Office of Student Engagement with the implementation, management, and execution of wellness centered programming and initiatives including continuing education for student clubs and organizations.
- Assist the Office of Student Engagement with designing programs, processes, and initiatives that increase students' connection and sense of belonging to campus with respect to their intersecting social identities.
- Assisting the Project Directors with collecting satisfaction survey data following JXS events.
- Working with IT to track social media and website metrics.
- Reach out and coordinate meetings with student organizations so that students can be involved in designing and implementing all JXS events.
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently with a wide variety of people in both oral and written encounters.
- Maintain appropriate files, records, and computerized databases.
- Keep the Project Directors informed on the progress of all assignments.
- Take notes at meetings, coordinate tasks and follow-up, and assist with JXS event planning (e.g., scheduling rooms, requesting AV equipment).
- Assist the Project Directors in tracking purchase orders, payments, and gift cards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Directors.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Office products and databases.
- Ability to create forms, track, and compile data.
- Detail oriented, ability to follow directions and take initiative for task completion.
- Good time management and outstanding organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree
- Two or more years of experience working in a position that requires effective management of regular processes (e.g., staff scheduling, tracking expenses) and complexity (e.g., following regulatory requirements and adapting, experience with grants).
