Job Description

MindPoint Group is seeking an extremely detail-oriented and conscientious individual to lead the attainment and maintenance of our portfolio of Corporate Certifications. The selected individual will be process-focused and able to work independently to keep certification projects moving forward to meet MPG-s expanding business needs and goals.

What you get to do every day:

+ Plan, execute, and manage approved corporate certification projects from start to finish

+ Work with the Growth team to proactively identify future corporate certification needs

+ Develop cost and resource estimates for proposed future certification efforts; present recommendations to Directors and VPs

+ Serve as the primary liaison to external consultants and auditors, communicating relevant and accurate information (e.g., requirements, status, action items) to and from stakeholders in a timely manner

+ Catalog the requirements for each approved certification effort; compare to MPG-s current state; prepare and deliver a gap assessment; create plans of action and milestones (POA&M) to remediate each identified gap

+ Coordinate internal activities to include interviewing subject matter experts, documenting existing processes, working with functional leads to develop new processes, and recommending improvements to advance organizational process maturity across MPG

+ Ensure all POA&Ms are closed prior to each assessment, internal audit, and/or external audit such that MPG receives a passing score at the required maturity level with zero findings

+ Serve as the lead POC during audits and assessments

+ Log and take for action auditor recommendations as additional opportunities for improvement

+ Track and communicate certification project status to MPG leadership on a regular cadence

+ Track and elevate risks and issues to approved Corporate Certifications; recommend, track, and manage mitigations

+ Facilitate Management Review Meetings at the executive leadership level as required by the standard(s); keep meeting minutes and ensure all action items are closed in a timely manner

+ Organize and keep current all policy, process, and procedural documentation in accordance with the applicable standard(s)

+ Remain abreast of any changes to applicable standards; help stakeholders adjust MPG-s processes and documentation to meet the revised standard(s)

+ Ensure all approved Corporate Certifications are maintained and renewed and that all new certifications are obtained on or before the required date

+ Must have the ability to flexibly adapt to changing conditions while staying focused on hard deadlines and end goals

+ Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What skills are required?

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

+ Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a relevant role such as a Project Manager (PM), Project Management Analyst, Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, Knowledge Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), Data Management Analyst, Training Administrator, and/or Customer Support role

+ Functional experience working in the Cybersecurity arena is needed to ensure an understanding of terminology and processes

+ Exceptional organizational skills

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to work under the pressure of rigid deadlines to achieve critical outcomes

+ Ability to work independently

+ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools and applications

What is ideal?

+ Experience participating in audits and assessments is strongly preferred

+ Experience leading corporate certification efforts such as ISO 9001/17020/20000/27001, CMMI-SVC, CMMI-DEV, SOC 2, or other related certifications on behalf of a federal contractor is strongly preferred

+ Experience as an auditor/assessor of the above certifications would be highly advantageous

+ PMP/ ITIL/Agile/Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certifications are a plus

+ Cybersecurity-specific or other IT certifications are a plus

+ Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90-120k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
